For consistent on-chain execution, the raffle creation logic requires a minimum buffer of 3 minutes between the current block timestamp and the raffle start time. This prevents invalid state errors and ensures predictable Program ( Solana smart contract ) behavior. Any attempt to set a raffle to start immediately or retroactively will be rejected by the contract.
